A Blast from the Past...

This weekend was our Riding Buddies Christmas Dinner... ok... Christmas was really just a good reason for us to get together... We're a busy bunch... Some are busy hibernating, or working, or with school, etc...

You really don't realise just how much you miss some people in your life sometimes... You see, during the riding season, this gang that met on Saturday night see each other AT LEAST once a week... sometimes for entire weekends... non-stop... We meet at a Timmies or the Twofast Spa and head out for a thrilling night of riding and fun (see previous posts)... We ride around Ottawa, stop at every Timmies in our path and stand around til the wee hours of the morning chatting, teasing each other, and well, laughing! This Saturday night was no different, except we weren't riding...

I had planned to have the regular gang meet at a local restaurant in the West end... My sister and her beau are regulars there, and everyone had been at least once with them before. The waitress knows them well and the service was great!

Dinner was scheduled for 6 pm, and we were out til almost 9pm... And we ended the night in the good old fashion way... talking, laughing in a circle in the parking lot! All in all it was an amazing evening... a blast from our past riding season, and a sneak peek to the season to come...

Only 4 more months folks... I miss my boys... but I can do this!
