Way to start 2009!!!

Well, today is January 1... the first day of the year 2009....

This morning I awoke in my best friend's house... slept there last night because the plan was to party a little, watch some movies and then crash... We played Scrabble with his mom, had some Mojitos and the watched Batman and Chuck and Larry! At midnight we sent texte messages to everyone we knew... and fell asleep at 1:30 am...

I came back home, went back to bed and then went to get my son at this dad's house... My church was having a Potluck dinner followed by some music from Danny Brooks (blues singer). I though, what the hell, I'll bring hte kid and see how long we can stay!

Well, not only did my son listen extremely well, he danced to the tunes, and then cuddled and fell asleep on me... that was the best!

So... 2009 started with lifes finest... my best friend, and all my church family and my son... closer and better then ever! Welcome 2009... it's gonna be a good one!
